Named after the Huab River which passes through the conservancy, //Huab was registered in 2003 and covers 1,817 km2. There are only 930 people in this large area, which is situated in north west Namibia’s Kunene region.
Wildlife includes elephant, leopard, mountain zebra, kudu, duiker, warthog, steenbok, klipspringer, ostrich, gemsbok, springbok.
Income is derived from conservation hunting and own use hunting. The Conservancy has recently entered into a Joint Venture agreement with Ultimate Safaris for hosting mobile camps throughout the year on a private and dedicated area for tourism.
